Santiago de Chile, Chile, Jun 2, 2013 — It was a Fed Cup semifinal on Saturday in Stockholm, and Carlos Alcaraz, the world No. 6, was having a lot of fun on the court.

More than his victories, though, Alcaraz told reporters he’s playing incredible tennis. But there’s more to it than just winning. The 26-year-old Alcaraz, ranked No. 1 in the world, said he and Fed Cup captain Roger Federer have an excellent bond and they get along well. “Roger is a good person and when that guy in me plays, I will play great,” Alcaraz said.

“He saved the match, but I thought, “OK, this guy is a genius,” Alcaraz said. “
